Dr. Paul Polyviou has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. Raised in the downriver area, Dr. Polyviou received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and earned his Dental Degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry.

 

The doctor is truly committed to providing the highest quality dental care to his patients. He is understanding of their concerns and believes communication is the way to making anyone visiting his office feel comfortable. A strong listener, Dr. Polyviou takes his time to explain and instruct patients of all ages on oral hygiene. Proud of his staff and doctors, Dr. Polyviou has ensured that they are able to provide the best dental care and that they understand the importance of making anxious patients feel comfortable and safe.

 

Dr. Polyviou is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), MDA (Michigan Dental Association) and the DDDS (Detroit District Dental Society).

                                               Dr. Rachel Stockhausen, D.D.S., M.D.S.

 

                                                                      

 

Working in the dental field for 16 years now, Dr. Rachel Stockhausen began her career working as a dental assistant and receptionist while she was in high school. Upon completing dental school at the University of Detroit-Mercy in 2002, she then practiced as a general dentist in the metropolitan Detroit area for the next five years.

 

Afterwards, Dr. Stockhausen attended the University of Connecticut as part of their School of Dental Medicine’s three-year specialty training program where she specialized in endodontics (medical treatments involving the root or pulp of the tooth). Always one to rise to the occasion, the doctor was chosen as Chief Resident during her time there. Upon completing her education, she returned to her home in Michigan.

 

Dr. Stockhausen’s goal is to promote oral health by eradicating any bacteria from within the tooth using an aseptic (sterile) technique. Her gentle touch and warm smile puts anxious patients at ease, while her knowledge and skilled use of instruments handles any necessary procedures safely and proficiently.

 

Dr. Stockhausen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
